Reinforcement on all fronts

Grrr combines strategy, technology and design to create innovative solutions. We always take end users of our partners as a starting point. And apparently, the group of end users is growing. As a consequence, our activities grow and, so does our team. After Robin and Myonne who have recently joined our team, it is already time to present three new team members. Meet Sem, Katie and Morgane.

Sem – Interaction Designer

Some fun facts about Sem. Sem was born in 020 but moved to 010, because he liked Rotterdam better?! He previously worked for Keytoe and sold toilet paper. Okay, in a fancy way; he sold it online at Smartass. You can wake him up for tapas and nasi. And if you take a good look at him, we bet also for the gym. More serious now, at Grrr we have the ambition to perform better than we did yesterday. We believe that Sem can help us with this ambition. He helped his previous employer, a startup company, by taking them to a next level. Additionally, he had a lot of influence on strategic decisions. With his all-round knowledge of design and technology, Sem will, besides his function as interaction designer, also encourage the synergy between the rest of the team.

His former colleagues told us that Sem is “a star in content and customer dialogue” and even “the best in that field”. Furthermore, he is “excellent in project progression”. Customers describe Sem as someone who “patiently listens and always thinks along with you”. Sem is already busy with, among other things, Stedelijk Museum and aims for an informative and challenging time at Grrr. We think that will work out fine!

Katie Bogdanska – Designer

Katie is the new UX designer joining the Grrr team, but will work on much more than that. With her passion for design, UX and unicorns she will make everything at Grrr awesome, including our parties. Katie gained experience at Mobgen, Touchwonders and worked as a freelancer. She graduated at both the Graphic Lyceum Amsterdam and the High School for Arts Utrecht (HKU) where she laid the foundations for her creative career. Additionally, you can ask Katie everything about travelling, the graffiti scene and movies. Finally, she is always in for a funny, not joke (get it?).

Morgane Lambert – Design Intern

Grrr also likes to welcome international people. Especially, the Swedish (Hyper Island) and French know their way to find us. Also, our newest French addition Morgane. She already worked as art director for the Decathlon Innovation Awards 2016 and she gained design experience at Square Garden, a creative studio based in Lille. In this northern French city, she also pursued most of her education as a designer at ECV – Creative Schools & Community. She is already used to living abroad because she studied at the Escola Superior de Artes e Design in Porto. At Grrr, Morgane works on various projects for customers and the design of the ananas.club app, a startup company Grrr supports. Although she does not look like it, she is totally crazy about Korean Hip Hop. Challenge her for a lip sync battle!
